Supernova SN2006lv
 
Supernova was discovered on picture from the night 28 of october 2006 in UGC 6517, a small galaxy in UMA.
The galaxy distance from Earth: 34 megaparsecs (110 million light-years).
Telescope: 0.32m f/3.1 Newton  (Moonbase observatory main optical instrument). CCD:  Starlight Xpress MX716.

The discovery picture 20061028.12UT 2x30 sek unfiltered ccd. Sn mag=16.0.
